The UK Government’s Green Deal scheme is due to launch in autumn 2012. It enables private firms to offer consumers energy efficiency improvements to their homes, community spaces and businesses at no upfront cost. The scheme will require the certification of a large number of installers to deliver a range of energy efficiency measures meeting Green Deal specifications.
Ocean Certification is involved with the Green Deal Pilot Programme, and is now recruiting experienced staff to become part of the auditing team tasked with installer assessment.
The organisation is seeking people who have skills and competencies in any of the following areas:
- Experience and knowledge of a range of insulation and heating installation measure
- Experience and knowledge of renewable technologies and their applications
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills in this expanding field
